Aircraft trolleys provided the architect and designer Christoph Ingenhoven with inspiration in his work with Vitra on the mobile storage unit Caddy. Fabricated from sheet steel with a powder-coated finish, Caddy is robust and durable, and its various configuration options make it a practical companion in the office: for instance, Caddy can be fitted with electrical wiring as a standing-height workstation, used as a platform for a projector in presentations, or customised for catering purposes.
